Classes

Yoga unifies minds, body and spirit and helps us relax and attain increased self-awareness and vitality. Classes are based on the Sivananda yoga technique of relaxation (savasana), breathing (pranayama), posture (asanas) and meditation.  The aim is to improve strength and flexibility as well as a mind-body balance.

Students are encourages to work within their own limits and at the same time to challenge themselves. My aim is to help students establish a sustainable, safe and enjoyable practice, leading towards a greater well-being. brings not only stillness and calm but also an indescribable energy ultimately giving us greater body/movement awareness.

Variations are encouraged and the Sivananda method is a gentle way to join the world of Yoga as a beginner. You will leave class feeling well worked physically and at the same time completely relaxed. and reengized

Practices begin with pranayama and wind down with a short meditation. Relaxation is nature's way of recharging and is as important as the physical postures in Yoga.

I view yoga as a path of self-discovery leading to good health, happiness, and healing

Yoga is a discipline that you are always a student of - very much like life.
